TriWisconsin: In the Race, In yo' face!
Written by TriWisconsin Triathlon Club

Summer is upon us, finally!  The last few days saw some 90 degree and above temperatures.  I am sure you have heard it many times before "hey, it's wisconsin weather fer' ya".  We athletes know it all too well.  Many of us watch the weather channel quite religioiusly, making sure we are prepared for what mother nature is about to throw at us.  Do you have enough waterbottles? Do you know where the water stops are?  Do you carry salt tablets?  These are things that will keep our body safe and our minds sharp, and we need that.

Superun 2009 again brought the team up on the for front of summer racing.  Over 50 triWisconsinites showed up to race, volunteer, cheer and support.

It is not unusual to find us scattered about, but we do find our way to get together and exchange stories.  It will be easier once we get are apparel printed and distributed.  Currently the uniforms are slated to be received by next week.  We will go through them and set aside the pre-orders, then the extras will be sold at first come first serve, so keep watching the updates and websites.

Big races are coming up ahead and Mike K is up to his old antics again of making sure you have ample information before race days.  The recon rides have been outstanding.  Make sure you observe the rules of the road and we can enjoy recon rides safely.

SPIRIT OF RACINE COURSE RIDE - SAT JULY 4TH 7:30am

LOCATION:  ERIE ST and 3Mile road.  3900 Erie St, Racine.  This is a new location as previously announced. Running course is close by the parking lot, so feel free to lace up the shoes.

Written by TriWisconsin Triathlon Club

ROSTER ROSTER ROSTER  (updated June 15th 2009)

471 members! are you kidding me?!  We hit another all time high.  Membership numbers have increased again.  Workout attendance have been exemplary.  Averaging about 30-40 members have been attending the workouts regularly.  There were about 50 members that joined us for the ironman LOOP ride.  We expect more or LOOPx2 ride...and other reconnaissance rides scheduled by Mike K.

Oh and hey, it is not easy to please 471 members, but we can because some of you also help out in every which way.  Leading bike rides, helping out at the swim workouts, track workouts, arranging and organizing social events...lots of members help us out.  If you want to help out, just let us know.  We'd love your company.

PICTURES? Got any good pictures of members (including you) flying the colors?  If so, send them to pictures@triwisconsin.org.  Some may be posted here, some displayed elsewhere...but feel free to share.

GUESS WHO?  Who could this leg belong to?  This person is sporting the TriWisconsin colors at big race.  First correct answer sent to pictures@triwisconsin.org may get a price.

Wear your triwisconsin colors on the race course or the sidelines and you may be feautured in my Guess Who?
