2019 TriWisconsin Swim Clinic(s)

The goal of these structured group coached (by Heather Haviland, Professional Endurance Coach & Co-owner of Milwaukee Cycling Center) swims is to break down the swim stroke into 3 phases. Each workout will focus on different parts of the stroke with the goal of improving technique.  Improved technique reduces drag and leads to increased stroke efficiency and reduced energy expenditure.  Lanes will be organized by pace.

  • January 20th – the kick, proper body balance, rotation and breathing
  • February 24th – hand entry and exits
  • March 24th – what to do underneath the water

After each swim an email recap will go out to all participants on the drills reviewed and will also include a workout guide to follow for the month.
