Run Workouts


Hill Workouts at Hansen Park - Every Wednesday at 6pm

(April, 3rd - End of April)

Meet at Hansen Park in the Golf Shack parking lot. (9800 West Underwood Creek Pkwy)

Total mileage is 6-7 with warm-up, hills & cool-down. The hill loop is a half mile and a total of 6 loops (3 Miles) are built into the workout. How many loops you actually run is your choice. All abilities welcome! 


Swim Workouts

Thursday Swim Workouts @ 7pm at the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center

Weekly TriWisconsin swim workouts will resume in January 2024 and will continue every week until the end of May (note: Our last spring swim workout is 5/23)

Meet at 7pm in the lobby of the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center (9240 North Green Bay Road, Brown Deer, WI 53209). 

Pool time from 7:15-8:15pm with optional workout plan and guidance from coach Kim Kelley.

*Donations are encouraged to assist with the pool rental cost and can be submitted through our website via the donation link


2024 Spring/Summer


Run Workouts


TRACK WORKOUTS WILL BEGIN MAY 1st 2024 AND WILL CONTINUE UNTIL THE END OF OCTOBER
Wednesday's -  May - October @ 6pm 

Wauwatosa West High School Track, 11400 W Center St, Wauwatosa, WI 53222


  • We will gather in front of the pavilion.
  • The track workout includes a 2 mile warm-up.  Those looking for a longer warm-up or to log additional miles are encouraged to do so on the track or nearby paths PRIOR to Ted's workout instructions that begin promptly at 6pm.
  • A couple of workout options will be available each week to cater to those training for races of different distances and at different paces.
  • Please follow the rules of the facility (no sports drinks, food, or gels on the track and keep off the infield)
  • All abilities are absolutely welcome and encouraged to join us!


Workout typically consists of the following format:

  • 1 mile (4 laps) easy run/jog
  • 1/2 mile (2 laps) with strides/accelerations on straights
  • 1/4 mile (1 lap) with 1/2 lap easy + 1/2 lap acceleration
  • 1/4 mile (1 lap) with 1/2 lap acceleration + 1/2 lap easy
  • 3 miles (12 laps) intervals of varying length + recovery
  • 1 mile (4 laps) easy run/jog

Bike Workouts

BIKE WORKOUTS WILL BEGIN JUNE 6th 2024

Wheel & Sprocket, 6940 N Santa Monica Blvd, Fox Point, WI 53217


  • We will gather in the parking lot. 
  • Wheels out at 6pm. Please arrive early. 
  • Distance: 20-25 miles
  • Route TBD and will be shared prior to the first ride.



Swim Workouts

OPEN WATER SWIM

Monday's 5:30-7:30pm, June 3rd through August 19th

Fox Brook Park, 2925 N Barker Rd, Brookfield, WI 53045

Details:  Located at Fox Brook Park in Brookfield, part of the Waukesha County Park System, we are setting a lifeguard supported 1/4 mile marked swim course Monday nights from June 3rd through August 19th weather permitting. Course will open at 5:30 pm CT and is available for laps until 7:30 pm CT. All swimmers are required to have a current USAT membership for insurance purposes as well as a completed Triathlon swim training permit. All are encouraged to purchase an annual county park sticker to avoid ticketing. or pay daily entry fee for park admittance. Register here. Note: Park Entrance fee required for Vehicle Access to Waukesha Parks
