MCC - TriWisconsin Indoor Training

TriWisconsin has partnered with the Milwaukee Cycling Center to offer our members a great opportunity during winter and spring to workout and improve their cycling fitness. 

Join in on getting more fit on the bike this winter all while having fun, with a few riding options for TRIWISCONSIN members only at one of Wisconsin’s premier cycling facilities, the Milwaukee Cycling Center (MCC) .  

Ride Days and Times:

MondayJanuary 9th through April 24th (16 weeks)

6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 

  • 1 hour coached workout.  This session will build on one another, starting the first week with 20 minute time trial to asses power zones then having each session building on one another. 

ThursdaysJanuary 5th through April 20th (16 weeks)

7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

  • 1 hour coached workout.  This session will build on one another, starting the first week with 20 minute time trial to asses power zones then having each session building on one another. 

Saturdays:  January 7th through March 25th (12 weeks) (Saturday January 28th session will be on Sunday January 29th) due to the  P3 TEAM Time Trial on Saturday January 28th

8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

  • Up to 1.5 hours on a rolling course, while using your gears and going at whatever intensity you choose.


  1. Pre-purchase the 1 hour Coached Class, 16 weeks for $160.00 
  2. Pre-purchase 1.5 hours Open Ride, 12 weeks for $120.00
  3. Pay per time for $12.50
TriWisconsin Members can choose to purchase Monday, Thursday, and/or Saturday sessions, or pay per time.

*Please note if you wish to secure your spot but cannot make it to all the sessions, either share it with someone else or sell your spot throughout the scheduled weeks.  No need to contact us or the MCC-- just allow the transaction to happen between you and that person you are giving it to or sharing it with.  


Tuesday Group Swims - Meet at Nicolet High School Pool

6701 N Jean Nicolet Rd, Glendale, WI 53217 

We get started at 7pm and swim for an hour. All abilities are welcome.

  6. Every Tuesday until the end of May --- ***No swim on January 24th due to a youth swim meet

If you are looking for some help with your swim, there will be someone there to work with you.

Option A:  Tri-specific geared towards helping with different aspects of open water and improving swim form.

Option B: Lap swimming with a specific workout to follow with the people in your lane.

After, a group heads out for dinner and drinks.

Wednesday Group runs - Meet in the Lobby of the Pettit National Ice Center

Start in October until the end of March

500 S 84th St, Milwaukee, WI 53214

We depart from the lobby at 6pm and do an out & back loop along the Honey Creek Parkway. As it gets darker earlier, remember bright, reflective clothing. All paces and first timers welcome!

  1. Route 1: about 7 miles (with option to do 6 miles)
  2. Route 2: about 3 miles


Lannon Ride


Tuesdays - Wheels out at 6pm, both main group and no-drop option.

Quarry Coffee (20316 West Main Street, Lannon) 

  • Led by TriWI members, Brad Wells & Sara Hauer
  • Multiple distances of hilly course training (26, 30 & 37 mile routes, maps provided).
  • All levels are welcome to attend.
  • This is a drop ride so get there early, grab a map and partner up with someone of similar ability / pace.
  • Stop in at Quarry Coffee before your ride for a snack / drink.
  • There is a path near the lot for a post-ride run.
  • Download Maps: 26 mile; 30 mile
Track Workouts


Wednesday -  May - September at 6pm 

Hart Park, 7201 W State St, Wauwatosa, WI 53213

  • We will gather in the grass in the northeast corner of the track.
  • It's recommended that you do a short warmup before Ted's workout instructions at 6:10pm (on the track or the nearby paths).
  • A couple of workout options will be available each week to cater to those training for races of different distances and at different paces.
  • Please follow the rules of Hart Park facility (no sports drinks, food, or gels on the track and keep off the infield)
  • All abilities are absolutely welcome and encouraged to join us!

North Shore Wheel & Sprocket Ride


Thursdays - Wheels out at 6pm

Wheel & Sprocket (6940 N. Santa Monica Blvd, Fox Point)

  • Led by Board Member Elias Macias 
  • This is a mostly flat, no drop ride ranging from 25 - 35 miles.
  • All levels are welcome.
  • Be sure to visit W&S for all your pre & post-ride needs!
