    Lannon Pasta Dinners @ Quarry Coffee

    The famous Lannon pasta dinner is just around the corner!  

    Block off your calendar now to join your fellow TriWI's teammates for an evening bicycle workout and pasta dinner!  It's a great way to kickoff the summer season!

    The workout will be a 30 mile loop on the Lannon course leaving the Quarry Coffee parking lot at 6pm. The pasta dinner will be held at Quarry Coffee immediately following the ride with the first riders returning around 7:45pm.

    Food: All you can eat spaghetti with sauce and meatballs, salad, and garlic bread.

    Beverages: Water is provided. Soda, Beer, and Wine are available for purchase.

    The dinner will be held rain or shine. Please RSVP by the Friday before the event if you plan to attend. Money will be collected at the door.

    How to get to Quarry Coffee:
    Take I-45 North to exit 47 A onto W Appleton Ave / WI-175
    Follow W Appleton Ave NW 1.9 mi to Good Hope Rd
    Turn left on Good Hope Rd and continue West for 4.5 mi
    Turn right at Lannon Rd and drive for 1 block to the stop light
    Turn right at the stop light onto West Main St / WI-74
    Quarry Coffee is one block down on the left side of WI-74

    You've done the training, now it's time to prepare for race day!

    From registration to finish line, Ironman Wisconsin is like no other triathlon you've ever done. This clinic will help prepare you for race and the events of the entire weekend.

    Perhaps we'll even calm your nerves just a bit....

    • Pre-race swims
    • Gear bags - what are they and what the heck to put in them
    • Bike check-in
    • Penalties and how to avoid them

    • Course specifics
    • What to do with friends and family 
    • Tapering & sleep
    • Race tactics and how to succeed
    • Mental preparation

    Fellow team members that have finished this race will be on hand as well. Take advantage of the expertise of your fellow teammates and make this the best experience you've ever had!! This year we're in great hands with our yet-to-be-announced panel of experts.  

    If you're not signed up for this year, and thinking about doing it next year, this is also a great opportunity to find out what is all involved.

    Please join us in celebrating of another season of racing at Estabrook Beer Garden on Sunday, August 27th at 2:00PM.  This will be potluck, so please bring a dish to share.

    There will be an informal swim at 12:00PM at Klode Park for those interested.

    TriWisconsin is once again hosting a water stop on the course of the Lakefront Marathon on Sunday, Oct 1st.  We are looking for volunteers to help us make this THE BEST AID STATION on the course!!

    The Kickapoo Reserve Dam Challenge Triathlon challenges participants to compete among the rugged hills of scenic southwestern Wisconsin's rural countryside and the Kickapoo Valley Reserve. Proceeds from this event benefit the Kickapoo Valley Reserve Education Program.

    Paddle 7 miles down the winding Kickapoo River along rock out-croppings and through diverse vegetation. The river route begins at Bridge 7 and ends at Bridge 14, the Transition Area.

    Road Bike 15 miles through the hilly driftless area. The route takes you through the valleys and over the ridge, in one of Wisconsin's most scenic rural landscapes.  Steep climbs and rapid descents provide the ride of a lifetime!  All cyclists must observe Wisconsin traffic laws. Helmets required. Drafting prohibited.

    Trail Run 3 miles in the Kickapoo Valley Reserve.  The course consists of winding and wooded trail and Old Highway 131 Multi-Use Trail, which is a deteriorating road bed.

    For $10, hop on a bus with other TriWI members to/from the race!

    Meet at the Pettit National Ice Center Park and Ride near 76th Street

    Bus leaves at 8am

    Races at 11:30am and 12:30pm

    Stay for beer and pizza post race

    Depart on the bus back to Milwaukee around 4pm

    This will be the 12th annual event. This charity run has 13.1 (run only) and 4.37 mile (run only) routes featuring beautiful Rock Lake. Each route begins and ends at Tyranena Brewing Company in Lake Mills.

    Event details and schedule

    RACE TIMES: 1/2 Barrel Run will begin at 11:30 am. 1/6 Barrel Run will begin at 12:30 pm. 

    PACKET PICKUP: Packet pickup will begin at 9:00 am on Saturday, November 4. For a variety of reasons, packets will not be handed out prior to race day.

    ENTERTAINMENT & BEER TENT The race-side Beer Tent will start serving beverages at 11:00 am and remain open until just after 5:00 pm. At that time we will be moving the party indoors, where we will have live music in the Tasting Room from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm. The Tasting Room at the brewery will be open until 11 pm. 

    DINNER AFTER THE RACE: Dinners will be served in the race-side Beer Tent from approximately 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
